Hannah Hurworth

Hi I'm Hannah, Content Marketing Partner for The Early Years Company. My role is to develop and implement our Content Marketing Strategy. Working collaboratively with our team, I create a wealth of resources designed to support and empower early years leaders such as blogs, downloads and guides and I create and over-see TEYC's social media pages. Alongside this, I support Franchisee's to launch and grow their social media presence, providing all the tools they need including market insights and support. I also create our weekly newsletter which keeps you up to date with sector news and events.

I have a BA(Hons) degree in Journalsim and I am also a fully qualified teacher (QTS) specialising in early years, and previously I was the Manager of a large school-based Early Years Unit. I love that working for The Early Years Company combines my love of writing and creating, with my passion for the early years, ultimately impacting on the long-term outcommes of lots of children.

When I am not working I love writing poetry, spending time with my family and being Mum to my three children.

Georgia Hill
Business Administrator
Hi I'm Georgia - Business Administrator for TEYC, I do everything from answering your enquiries to supporting our franchisees by ensuring the information we hold around the sector is up to date. I also keep on top of any changes in nursery territories. My role also includes jobs such as invoicing and collecting nursery training feedback.

Alot of the jobs in my role are based around making sure the franchisees have the right material to be able to deliver the best training, whether that is making sure their territory is up to date, making sure all certificates are sent to the franchisee for the nursery on the training, or sending the franchisees their amazing feedback so they know how great they are doing.

I have been part of The Early Years Company since the very beginning. I have a son who is SEND and I provide a great insight into the life of a SEND child and the ins and outs of being a SEND parent which I use to extra input and guidance when it comes to our SEND training.

Becky Haynes
Early Years Specialist
Hi my name is Becky, I am The Early Years Company's Early Years Specialist as well as manager at Codsall Community Nursery which is owned by Kelly Hill. My role for TEYC includes sharing sector updates, both locally and nationally, ensuring that our training and resorces stay up to date and current. I also work with Hannah to create documents to help and support settings, providing a nursery manager's point of view and knowledge.

I have been in childcare for nearly 20 years since leaving school. I knew from a very young age that this is what I wanted to do for a career. I have completed my level 3 qualification as well as then going on to do my Foundation degree part-time while working full-time. I have worked my way from student to practitioner, to room leader/manager, deputy, then manager and recently Early Years Specialist too.

When I’m not working I enjoy making memories with my partner and my two stepdaughters, as well as spending time with my family and friends.
