The Key Leadership, was founded by early years professional Kelly Hill in February 2020 in response to a gap in the sector for support for early years leaders and aspiring leaders.

In early 2021, the business converted to a not for profit, Community Interest Company (CIC), demonstrating it’s commitment to reinvesting into the sector. The conversion led to a rebrand and rename to Early Years Leadership.
